11/19/04 Update -Under Body Work

Larry does not want to leave anything unturned with this project and after they finished last week doing the fitting, it was decided to flip the shell and clean up all the edges and prep the underside of the fiberglass.

Based upon Larry estimations we are about 4 weeks out from completion. The body is going into the paint booth on Monday. I think they are still waiting on a few straggler parts hopefully they arrive in time to maintain the timeline.

Our goal is to have it running for the January Dallas TCC meeting, since this will be the one-year anniversary of our first attended meeting in Dallas.

11/10/04 Update

Now that Larry has finished Jacks car things should start moving very quickly with mine…assuming all the part show up.

Since Larry created the original plug he has decided to make a few modifications on how the car mounts to the chassis to make it easier to paint off the body (did I just hear moans from DB & JM?)

Since he is doing this he sent me a few pictures of them fitting the components and doing the “test” fit. This will eliminate any over spray and enable him to create a much better end product.

Going Home 11-3-2004

Stacey is very excited as we get to finally get to go home. She and Andrew are dressed and itching to head out. Andrew is still real sleepy and loves to be close to his mommy.

The nurse pushed Stacey holding Andrew in her arms out of the hospital in a wheel chair . I will try and post some video at some point (are you surprised I have this)

Here is a picture of Andrew once we got him home and changed…This kid has more clothes that I do so we might as well get some use out of them.

Moved to Post Delivery Area 11-2-2004

Stacey is very excited as she was taken off of the Magnesium and moved to the post delivery side of the hospital. Just like me she just cannot stop working … she is trying to close a sale I think.

Andrew is doing great and is having a lot of fun with us wheeling him in his his little box

If all goes well we might be going home tomorrow!!!

First Vistors 11-1-2004 Hospital

We received our first visitors today.

The visitor list to see Andrew has been: Katie and Grandpa ( always prepared of course ) & grandma Noland, Aunt Nancy and Jill and Jason.

It was a fun visit for both Mom and Andrew …well both of them like to be the center of attention .

The hospital cut the visit a little shorter than anticipated since we are still in the Labor and Delivery area… we hope to get everyone back after we get home or over to the post delivery area.
